Miso Soup with Potato and Onion

Ingredients:
- 3 1/3 cups dashi soup stock
- 1 potato
- 1/2 onion
- 3-4 tbsps miso
Preparation:
Cut potato into quarter-rounds. Thinly slice onion. Put dashi soup stock and potato in a pan and simmer for 6-8 minutes. Add onion slices in the pan and simmer 2-4 more minutes. Scoop out some soup stock from the pan and dissolve miso in it. Return the soup in the pan. Stop the heat and add chopped green onion. Remember not to boil the soup after you put miso in.
